It all began with our dear grandfather Giorgio, an engineer and devoted lover of Orta Lake, where he grew up and built the grand family home where we spent countless joyous childhood memories together. We are a large and close-knit family, and Orta Lake has always been our beloved haven for enjoying all that the lake has to offer.
Villa Volpe was built in 2015, and was named after my clever and cunning grandmother Maura, affectionately nicknamed "the fox" in Italian (Volpe). At first, the house was only used by our family in the summer months, but we soon realized that it would be a shame not to share this breathtaking beauty with others. And so, we decided to open our doors to tourists from all around the world, inviting them to feel right at home even while they are miles away. We take great pleasure in hosting guests from all corners of the globe and introducing them to the wonders of Orta Lake
